At the meeting, Chief Executive Lee and CG Yap recounted the strong Malaysia-Hong Kong relations, and took stock of the work of the CG during his tour of duty in Hong Kong. The Chief Executive thanked the CG for the close relations between both jurisdictions during the latter’s tenure and wished the CG success in his next assignment. CG Yap also thanked the Chief Executive for the close support and collaboration from the Hong Kong SAR Government throughout his time in the SAR.
CG Yap first arrived in Hong Kong on 21st March 2019 and is scheduled to complete his tour of duty here on 13th September 2022.
