MATRADE facilitated a working visit by Hong Kong Securities and Futures Professionals Association (HKSFPA) to Kuala Lumpur from 29 April to 3 May 2024, with the objective to further explore cooperation with various organisations in Malaysia especially in Islamic Finance.
In one of the sessions with Islamic Banking & Finance Institution Malaysia (IBFIM), both parties agreed to explore potential cooperation in developing online training module on Islamic Finance for HKSFPA members.
This is another milestone in Malaysia-Hong Kong cooperation following the hybrid training jointly organised by MATRADE and MIFC, officiated by the Consul General in January 2024, attended by over 1,000 HKSFPA members.
