In view of the latest local COVID-19 situation, the Hong Kong SAR Government has implemented special work-from-home arrangements for its civil servants (see: https://www.info.gov.hk/gia/general/202201/24/P2022012400208.htm).
In this regard, the Consulate-General of Malaysia in the Hong Kong SAR will also implement special work-from-home arrangements.
As a result, effective Tuesday, 25 January 2022, Visa, Malaysian Passport and Consular Counter Services will be open to the public during the following days/times:
- Monday: 9.00 am to 12.00 pm
- Wednesday: 9.00 am to 12.00 pm
- Friday: 9.00 am to 12.00 pm
Please note that Consular Services are located at the 24th Floor, while Malaysian Passport and Visa services are located at the 23rd Floor.
The Consulate-General will review the local COVID-19 situation together with relevant guidance from the local authorities on the resumption of normal operations in the future.
The Consulate-General will also be closed for the Chinese Lunar New Year on Tuesday, 1 February and Wednesday, 2 February 2022.
