The above meeting was held in Algiers from 22-24 April, 2012. The Malaysian delegation was led by Prof Datin Paduka Dr Khatijah Mohd Yusoff, Deputy Secretary General (Science & Technology) of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI) while the Algerian side was led by Mr. Mohamed BAIT, Secretary General of the Ministry of Post and ICT. Other members of the Malaysian delegation include MAMPU, MDeC, MCMC, Wisma Putra and MABC. H.E. Dr Hasrul Sani Mujtabar was also present during the 3-day meeting and represented Wisma Putra on MTCP matters.
The meeting had been very beneficial to both sides and looking forward for possible collaborative projects through joint-business and government collaborations. Possible strategic projects, include, cooperations in Cyberpark and innovations, e-Governance, Cybersecurity and ICT trainings under MTCP.

PREMIERE REUNION DU GROUPE DE TRAVAIL MIXTE DES TECHNOLOGIES DE L’INFORMATION ET DE LA COMMUNICATION ALGERIE – MALAISIE
La réunion précitée a été tenue à Alger du 22 au 24 avril 2012. La délégation Malaisienne été menée par Prof Datin Paduka Dr Khatijah Mohd Yusoff, Vice-Secrétaire Générale (Science et Technologie) du Ministère de Science, la Technologie et l’Innovation (MOSTI). La partie Algérienne était menée par M Mohamed BAIT, Secrétaire Général du Ministère de la Post et des TIC.
Des représentants de MAMPU, MDeC, MCMC, Wisma Putra et du MABC faisaient aussi partie de la délégation Malaisienne. SEM Dr Hasrul Sani Mujtabar a pris part aux travaux des trois journées et a représenté Wisma Putra sur les questions liées au MTCP.
La réunion été très bénéfique pour les deux parties en attente des projets de coopération à travers des JV et des collaborations Gouvernementales. D’éventuels projets stratégiques, y compris la coopération dans le domaine des Cyberparcs et l’innovation, e-Gouvernement, Cybersécurité, et les formations dans le domaine des TIC à travers les programmes du MTCP.
