Malaysian team, Mofazfortec emerged as the first runner up in race two of the Formula Renault 3.5 World Series in Circuit de Catalunya on 19 April 2009 in Barcelona. Mofazfortec was represented by Fairuz Fauzi from Malaysia and rookie Sten Pentus from Estonia. Despite of being in his maiden season, the latter managed to be at the second place to finish the race. Fairuz fared quite well himself for managing to climb to the fifth place after making two stops due to technical reasons.

Malaysia’s Ambassador in Spain, Y.Bhg. Dato’ Naimun Ashakli Mohammad was invited by the organizer to present the trophy to Pentus. The Malaysian Ambassador was accompanied by Malaysia’s Honorary Consul in Barcelona, Y.Bhg. Datuk Manuel A. Condeminas. Aside from showing support to the Malaysian team, the two had a brief discussion with the President of the Mofaz Group, Tuan Haji Mohamed Fauzi Abdul Hamid on the best strategy to explore the Spanish market in promoting the company’s wellness products.
