APPLICATION FOR RENUNCIATION OF MALAYSIAN CITIZENSHIP.

 

1)        Please complete two (2) sets of Borang K and submit with the following documents  either in person or mail to:

          

            Embassy of Malaysia

            World Trade Center

2)        Your Malaysian Passport and a photocopy of pages 1-7.

 

3)        Your original Malaysian Identity card and a photocopy of the front and back.  Please note that we no longer accept the old blue Malaysian Identity card.

 

4)        Your original Malaysian birth certificate and a photocopy.

 

5)        Your original Malaysian Citizenship certificate (not applicable if you are born after 31.08.1957) and a photocopy.    

 

6)        Two (2) recent colored passport sized photographs with plain light blue/grey background only. Dimensions: 3.5cm X 5cm. Your face should cover the entire photograph showing your features clearly. (Please note that photos by coin-operated machines are not acceptable).

           

7)        The certified true copy of your Finnish passport or Certificate of Finnish Citizenship or Letter of Offer of Citizenship from Directorate of Immigration of Finland whichever applicable.

 

8)        Please affix your right and left thumbprint in black ink as indicated on Borang K.

 

9)        The fee is Euro5.00 only. We accept Cash or Postal Money Order or Bank Draft made payable to the EMBASSY OF MALAYSIA, HELSINKI. Please check with the Embassy of the latest fee applicable.

 

10)      A self-addressed prepaid envelope for the return of your documents (applicable only if you want them mailed). The Embassy of Malaysia will not be liable for any mail that is lost, misplaced or damaged during dispatch (Non applicable for those who come in person)

 

11)      Please note that all incomplete applications will be returned to the sender.

 

 

NOTE:

The "Borang "K" (K Form) is available at the Embassy. You may collect it personally

or send us a self-addressed prepaid envelope if you want it to be mail-delivered to you.
