ASEAN + 3 + 1 Working Luncheon
The ASEAN+3+1 Working Luncheon was hosted by Ambassador Cheah Choong Kit of Malaysia on 13 March 2012 at the Embassy of Malaysia in Helsinki, in his capacity as the Chair of ASEAN Helsinki Committee (AHC).
The Working Luncheon was attended by the ASEAN Heads of Mission namely Viet Nam, Indonesia, Thailand and the Philippines; Ambassador of China, India, Republic of Korea and Deputy Chief of Mission of Japan (representing the Japanese Ambassador).
The formation of ASEAN+3+1 is an informal extended group of AHC that would engage with the Finnish leadership through Working Luncheons hosted by the members. The next Working Luncheon will be hosted by the Ambassador of India with H.E Erkki Tuomioja, Foreign Minister of Finland as the guest of honour.
