The Malaysian Embassy Helsinki, together with our ASEAN colleagues, organised the ASEAN-MFA Appreciation Day 2024, in conjunction with our annual ASEAN Friendly Badminton Games
In the spirit of friendship and unity, we held friendly matches between representatives from ASEAN countries with embassies in Finland and our host country. Beyond celebrating ASEAN unity and our vibrant communities in Finland, the event served as a platform to further strengthen ASEAN-Finland cooperation. We also took the opportunity to celebrate Malaysia's Bulan Sukan Negara
A big thank you to Mr. Jari Sinkari, Director General of the Department for Asia and Oceania and Ms. Saara Harju, Desk Officer from the Unit for South Asia and Southeast Asia from Ulkoministeriö - utrikesministeriet for representing. Special thanks also to our friends and colleagues at the Indonesian Embassy in Helsinki, Royal Thai Embassy, Helsinki, and Embassy of Viet Nam in Finland, as well as their communities here in Helsinki, for making this year’s program a great success.
