H.E. Datin Seri Blanche Olbery, Ambassador of Malaysia to the Republic of Finland, paid a courtesy call on HE Alexander Stubb, Minister of European Affairs and Foreign Trade at his office on 21 November 2013.
During the call, HE Ambassador and Minister Stubb discussed and shared views on matters relating to political development in Finland, the state of bilateral relations between Malaysia and Finland and regional developments in the European Union including the upcoming European Parliament elections due to be held in May 2014 and also economic situation of the EU.
Malaysia looks forward to closer economic cooperation with Finland and the meeting with Minister Stubb provides an opportunity for Malaysia and Finland to work together in view of his portfolio in foreign trade.
