Helsinki, 4 February - HE Dato' Blanche Olbery, Ambassador of Malaysia to the Republic of Finland, paid a courtesy call on Mr. Lasse Keisalo, Director at the Political Department, Unit for UN and General Global Affairs of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Finland. The meeting, among others, discussed Malaysia and Finland's potential cooperation at the relevant UN Bodies, Malaysia's contribution in international organizations where Malaysia has been the member as well as domestic political development in both countries.
The meeting is a continuous effort by the Embassy officials to engage with the local stakeholders in Finland and to establish and expand its networking with the host government officials.
Also present during the meeting was Mr. Devrin Jeck, Counsellor at the Embassy of Malaysia in Helsinki, Finland.
