**CROSS LEARNING TECHNICAL VISIT TO STRENGTHEN THE COLLABORATION BETWEEN PERAK STATE FORESTRY DEPARTMENT AND BUSINESS FINLAND PARTNER AGENCIES & ORGANISATIONS, 17-26 JUNE 2023**
Kicking-off the Helsinki leg of the visit with a meeting at the Ministry of Agriclture & Forestry Finland (MAFF) and Finnish Forest Centre. Interesting discussion on a myriad of ideas ranging from (i) Finnish forest policy & natural forest strategy,(ii) precision & smart forestry, (iii) good practices in forest management & silviculture as well as forest fire management in Finland.
The discussion was a timely affair as the delegation had shared perspectives on forest management in Perak state as well as expectations for the visit.
Looking forward to potential cooperation and learning experiences between both our countries
