The Specific Project Mission to Europe was aimed at creating awareness on investment opportunities in the medical devices and pharmaceutical industries in Malaysia and initialising cooperation between our two countries. The Nordic segment of the mission consisted of meetings and factory visits in Sweden and Finland, shedding light on investments and outsourcing opportunities in Malaysia and assessing potential links to collaboration.
The dinner constituted a networking occasion forming and reaffirming connections with Finnish companies. The company representatives were introduced to MIDA and its role in supporting foreign businesses in Malaysia as well as opportunities in the medical devices and pharmaceutical sector in the country. The Embassy of Malaysia in Helsinki on its behalf offered its support to the companies in facilitating business in Malaysia.
The evening was a fruitful business occasion endorsing trade connections between Finland and Malaysia with the added delight of a striking sea view over the Helsinki city harbour.
