A pleasure to reconnect with the inspiring team at United Nations Global Pulse Helsinki – a leading UN hub advancing innovation through foresight, behavioural science, data, and digital transformation.
The Malaysian Embassy Helsinki had the opportunity to exchange insights and explore avenues for collaboration in support of the UN’s shared goals. Always proud to see Malaysian talent represented in the global innovation ecosystem, with Patricia Loh, Senior Analyst, as part of the Helsinki team.
Last year, we had the privilege of attending the launch of the UN Global Pulse Scale Accelerator Programme, which continues to evolve and inspire. Initiatives like Tobacco-Free Farms and the Black Soldier Fly waste-to-fertiliser project demonstrate how local solutions have the potential to scale into impactful, global change.
In an era of complexity and transformation, UN Global Pulse reminds us of the importance of thoughtful, long-term innovation. Embassies can play a key role as connectors – linking ecosystems, supporting scale, and helping shape the future we collectively aspire to. Looking forward to continued collaboration across the UN – Finland – Malaysia innovation nexus.
