Dato' Sri Amran Mohamed Zin, Ketua Setiausaha Kementerian Luar Negeri telah menerima kunjungan hormat daripada TYT Sami Leino, Duta Besar Finland ke Malaysia pada 28 Jun 2024. TYT Leino akan menamatkan tugas sebagai Duta Besar Finland ke Malaysia pada bulan Ogos 2024.
Kedua-dua pihak bertukar pandangan mengenai kerjasama sedia ada, terutamanya berkenaan pelaburan, teknologi hijau dan perhutanan serta peluang kerjasama baharu di peringkat ASEAN. Kedua-dua pihak menghargai kerjasama yang terjalin di antara Malaysia dan Finland pada masa ini.

Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dato' Sri Amran Mohamed Zin received a farewell call by Ambassador of Finland to Malaysia, H.E. Sami Leino on 28 June 2024. H.E. Leino will be ending his tour of duty as the Ambassador of Finland to Malaysia in August 2024.
Both sides exchanged views on existing cooperation, especially in investment, green technology and forestry, as well as on potential collaboration, including within the ASEAN platform. Both sides cherished the beneficial cooperation that Malaysia and Finland currently enjoy.
