TYT Tun Dato’Seri Utama Ahmad Fuzi Haji Abdul Razak has been Governor of Penang since 30 April 2021.
Throughout his illustrious career, he has previously held distinguished posts rich in diplomatic and administrative experiences, among others such as that of the Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Malaysia; High Commissioner of Malaysia to Dhaka, Bangladesh; Director General of the Institute of Diplomacy and Foreign Relations (IDFR); Ambassador-at-Large representing Malaysia to the High-Level Task Force on the Drafting of the ASEAN Charter; and Secretary General of World Islamic Economic Forum (WIEF).
