The Helsinki Diplomatic Association (HDA) organised a working breakfast on EU Common Security and Defense Policy in which Malaysia participated in.
The invited speaker (Ms. Tyyne Karjalainen) is a Research Fellow at the The Finnish Institute of International Affairs (FIIA) focused on European Union foreign and security policy and differentiated integration in the EU. Her presentation also covered peace building, crisis management and peace mediation efforts by the EU.
The discussions were free flow and openly discussed matters pertaining to relevant subjects of common interest relating to the topic of security as well as the direction for Europe as we head into 2023. Thank you HDA for the excellent event!
