Malaysia was represented at the 2024 Helsinki Cine Aasia Movie Festival
Helsinki Cine Aasia is a member of NAFFE – Network of Asian Films Festival in Europe & is the only festival of contemporary Asian cinema in Finland. Each year in March, Helsinki Cine Aasia presents the most interesting and touching films of the moment from East and Southeast Asia.
Earlier in the day, the Malaysian Embassy Helsinki met up with Mr Duong Nghiem, Cooperation Coordinator HCA to understand better what they do as well as well explore potential cooperation opportunities.
In the evening Suomi-Malesia Yhdistys / Finland-Malaysia Association coordinated for Malaysians in Finland to watch the Malaysian movie screening of "Abang Adik".
Taking this opportunity to the FMA in collaborating to bring Malaysians together. Thank you also to Ms Jenni Peisa, Managing Director HCA for specially mentioning the Malaysian Embassy Helsinki and the FMA at the opening event.
