Malaysia does not tolerate intolerance. In the spirit of UN’s “Week of Understanding of Religions and Opinions” let us try and respect each other better.
Though freedom of expression is a fundamental part of democracy, it should be reminded that what is legal may not necessarily be appropriate. Disrespectful acts such as burning scripture/books that are holy to many should not be tolerated. Fullstop.
