Engagements with the Finnish business sector continued this week in Helsinki with a session organised by the Finland-South East Asia Business Association at the offices of the Central Chamber of Commerce.
The Malaysian Embassy Helsinki together with Malaysian Investment Development Authority - MIDA Stockholm and the ASEAN Ambassadors had the pleasure to update Finnish companies on investment prospects in Southeast Asia. Malaysia took the opportunity to highlight the latest strategic initiatives and prospects linked to the country's energy transition and robust greentech ecosystem.
The event and discussions gave more promising avenues for linking Finnish businesses with opportunities in Malaysia and the ASEAN region. When asked about a Finnish solution the representatives would like to see in their countries, Malaysia's representatives highlighted education and energy sector solutions as key arenas where Finnish companies could contribute in.
In case of interests in particular sectors, Finnish companies may connect with the representatives of MIDA Stockholm for assistance in incentives and market entry services free of charge. The Embassy of Malaysia in Helsinki will also be happy to assist in linking Finnish companies to the appropriate channels in Malaysia and country specific information.
Terima Kasih, Kiitos & Many thanks again to the Finland-South East Asia Business Association for the fruitful engagement. Let's continue the discussions and excellent collaboration for mutual opportunities and exchanges
