Helsinki, 24 March 2017 – HE Dato’ Blanche Olbery, Ambassador of Malaysia to Finland visited the booth where the Malaysian Agriculture Representative Office in The Hague (PPP The Hague) is showcasing Malaysian agricultural products in K-Citymarket Espoo Sello. Mr. Mohd Yusmizam Yahya, Agriculture Counsellor and Mr. Mohammad Wafiuddin Esa, Second Secretary of Agriculture at the Embassy of Malaysia in The Hague were in Helsinki from 24-25 March 2017 as part of their tour.
It is the second time such promotion was done and this year it drew more crowds than the last year due to perfect timing as it was held on the weekend and located strategically near the check-out counters which increased its visibility among shoppers coming to one of the affluent neighbourhoods in Finland during its two-day promotional period.
Malaysia exported fruits worth US$10.37 million (RM43.41 million) to Europe in 2015, according to BERNAMA.
