The Malaysian Embassy Helsinki together with Malaysian Investment Development Authority - MIDA Stockholm were in Lahti to meet with Kempower's Mr Tomi Ristimäki (CEO) and Ms Paula Savonen (VP Communications). The company designs and manufactures DC fast chargers for the electric vehicles industry. The intention of the visit was to spur more investment into the charging segment with the hope to potentially make Malaysia as a hub for the Asia Pacific market.
KEMPOWER has expanded into Malaysia through a partnership with EV Connection. Alongside their local Malaysian partner (Gentari*), EV Connection has launched an EV fast charging hub at Bangi Golf Club Resort, a location licensed by the Energy Commission and within 40 minutes drive of Kuala Lumpur.
* As a global energy player, PETRONAS aspires to achieve net zero carbon emissions by 2050, delivering cleaner energy and lower carbon solutions to people globally. Gentari is a clean energy company focused on delivering integrated net zero solutions required to put cleaner energy into action today, to transform how we live tomorrow.
Kudos to KEMPOWER, Gentari, and EV Connection in working together and aspiring to make our world a cleaner and better place.
