National Day Reception

In conjunction with Malaysia’s 52^nd Anniversary of Independence on 31 August 2009, the Ambassador of Malaysia H.E. Cheah Choong Kit hosted a reception on 4 September 2009 at the Official Residence, `Rumah Malaysia’.

The event was attended by members of diplomatic corps in Helsinki, officials from the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland, a number of Malaysians residing in Helsinki, the home based staff as well as the locally recruited staff of the Embassy.

Guests were treated to a wide spread of Malaysian food prepared by PERWAKILAN (The Ladies Association of the Embassy of Malaysia) Helsinki and the caterer from Coconut Oy.
