Gaining insight into Nordic experiences and the challenges on open borders and free movement in the Nordic countries during the pandemic. The Embassy participated in a webinar on "Nordic Cooperation amid Pandemic Travel Restrictions" by the Finnish Institute for International Affairs, exploring developments at the political level as well as for cross-border regions.
The value of trust and informal cooperation among the Nordics, particularly during crisis were highlighted, as well as proposals of formalisation of crisis cooperation in view of future crisis preparedness at the Nordic level.
