The Malaysian Embassy Helsinki is pleased to welcome a delegation from the Centre for Instructor and Advanced Skill Training (CIAST) and the Ministry of Human Resources Malaysia - Kementerian Sumber Manusia. The delegation is in Finland for a benchmarking visit to explore Finland’s renowned education system, with a focus on vocational education and training (TVET), guided by EduCluster Finland Oy.
The visit kicked off at the Finnish Ministry of Education and Culture - Opetus- ja kulttuuriministeriö, where the delegation was briefed on Finland's approach to competence-based qualifications and policies that align with the evolving needs of the labour market. Collaboration between education providers, businesses, and regional authorities plays a key role in shaping these skills, especially in addressing challenges like the green transition.
This marks the beginning of two weeks of learning and collaboration to support the growth of Malaysia's vocational education system. The Embassy looks forward to facilitating more knowledge sharing in the spheres of education and human capital development between our two countries.
