The Department of Skills Development from the Ministry of Human Resources, Malaysia undertook a technical working visit to Finland on 13-15 October 2014. The objective of the visit was to learn and gain a better understanding of the Finnish education system, particularly in the field of vocational studies.
The visit was led by YBhg Datuk Dr. Pang Chau Leong, the Director-General of the Department together with another eleven officials from the Department as well as other agencies.
During the visit, the delegation met with the Vocational Education Division of the Finnish Ministry of Education and Culture, Finnish National Board of Education, the Confederation of Finnish Industries and Haaga Helia University of Applied Science.
