The ASEAN Helsinki Committee conducted a visit and attended a briefing at the e-Estonia Centre on 17 April 2026.
The session offered in-depth insights into Estonia’s pioneering approach to digital governance and innovation, including its e-government ecosystem, digital identity framework, and cybersecurity infrastructure. Representatives gained a clearer understanding of how Estonia leverages technology to enhance public service delivery, transparency, and efficiency.
The visit served as a valuable platform for knowledge exchange, highlighting potential areas of cooperation between Estonia and the member states of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations, particularly in digital transformation, smart governance, and capacity-building initiatives.
