Visit by the Malaysian Palm Oil Board to Helsinki, Finland
YBhg Datuk Dr. Choo Yuen May, the Director-General of the Malaysian Palm Oil Board undertook a short visit to Helsinki, Finland on 11 December 2014 and met with senior executives from Finland’s national oil company, Neste Oil. The meeting took place at Neste Oil’s refinery in Porvoo to discuss and share latest development and information pertaining to cooperation between Neste Oil and Malaysia’s palm oil industry.
Also present at the meeting was Her Excellency Blanche Olbery, Ambassador of Malaysia to the Republic of Finland, Dr. Kalanithi Nesaretnam, Regional Manager of the Malaysian Palm Oil Board based in the Embassy of Malaysia in Brussels, Belgium, Mr. Nik Aznizan Nik Ibrahim, Head of Conservation, Sustainability and Certification Unit and Mr. Devrin Jeck, Counsellor at the Embassy of Malaysia, Helsinki.
