Helsinki, 12 September 2016 - A Malaysian furniture entrepreneurs' European trade mission organised by the Malaysian Timber Industry Board (MTIB) visited Helsinki on 8-12 September 2016.
As part of their mission the delegation visited the Habitaire interior, design and furniture fair at the Messukeskus fair centre in Helsinki as well as meeting with with Finnpartnership - Finnish Business Partnership Program?.
The aim of the mission was to see the potential market for wood furniture industry in Northern Europe and to discover the new designs and inspiration for young furniture designers from Malaysia.
The delegation also had dinner with Ambassador H.E. Dato' Blanche Olbery? and paid a courtesy call to the chancery of the Embassy of Malaysia.
