The Malaysian Embassy Helsinki together with our colleagues from Malaysian Investment Development Authority - MIDA Stockholm had a working visit to Peikko Group Corporation in Lahti. We had the opportunity to engage and discuss first-hand with Mr. Topi Paananen (CEO) and Mr Kim Salven (VP Sales & Marketing) and its operations here in Finland.
Peikko Group is a supplier of slim floor structures, wind energy applications, and connection technology for use in precast and cast-in-situ construction. The company will now be manufacturing anchor bolt, fabricated metal products, and wire loop in Johor Bahru, Malaysia; - in which the company’s major market will be South East Asia and the Malaysian plant will also serve as a back up for Australia, Europe and Americas.
