World Circular Economy Forum 2023 (WCEF) set the scene as well as took stock of the progress made in the transition to a nature-positive circular economy. Malaysian Embassy Helsinki participated at the sessions which featured prospects for global resource use and underlined the need for sustainable resource management for effective action on well-being, prosperity and equality.
The sessions highlighted the importance of a shared vision on a circular economy, leaning on regenerative principles, and urgency in scaling up circular solutions. Malaysia looks forward to contribute and learn from Finland and the world in the areas of circular economy.
