GENERAL PROCESS FOR THE APPLICATION OF APPROVAL LETTER TO RETURN TO MALAYSIA
This is only applicable for those arriving in Malaysia effective 24 July 2020.
1) The applicant may download the Letter of Undertaking (LoU)/ Surat Aku Janji through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs website/social media.

2) The applicant is required to fill up the LoU, and e-mail the scanned copy of the document and copy of their passport to loulondon@kln.gov.my.
KINDLY STATE YOUR DATE, TIME AND AIRPORT OF DEPARTURE IN THE EMAIL SUBJECT.
3 a) Please email in the LOU within 1 week of your departure date as priority will be given to those flying out within 1 week.
b) If the applicant agrees to bear the quarantine cost, an Approval Letter will be issued via e-mail to the applicant.
c) If the applicant disagrees to bear the quarantine cost, an Approval Letter will not be issued to the applicant. Applicant who disagrees to bear the quarantine cost but insist to return to Malaysia may face legal action under Act 342.
4) Please download and install the 'MySejahtera' App onto your smartphone before your arrival. You may register the App using your email.
5) Applicant may board the flight to Malaysia. Kindly present the hardcopy of LoU and copy of Approval to officers on duty upon arrival in KLIA and at quarantine centres.
