Professor Sir Colin Campbell, former Vice-Chancellor of the University of Nottingham, was bestowed the Federal Award, Panglima Jasa Negara (PJN), by His Majesty the Yang di-Pertuan Agong Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin Ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Mahmud Al-Muktafi Billah Shah. The Award carries the title "Datuk". At an Investiture ceremony held on 1 June 2009 at the University of Nottingham, His Excellency Datuk Abd. Aziz Mohammed, High Commissioner of Malaysia, conferred the award to Y.Bhg. Professor Sir Datuk Colin Campbell on behalf of His Majesty the Yang di-Pertuan Agong.
