In celebration of Hari Sukan Negara (National Sports Day) 2024, the High Commission of Malaysia Sports and Social Club (KESSO), in collaboration with Perwakilan London, organised a sports day for the High Commission’s staff and their families on 12 October 2024. The event aimed to promote an active and healthy lifestyle, and highlight the importance of cultural heritage through sports. Participants engaged in traditional Malaysian games such as congkak, batu seremban, ceper, dam aji, and boling kelapa, not only as a way to embrace physical activity but also to preserve and popularise these cultural sports within the community. This gathering emphasized the significance of instilling wellness practices and team spirit, uniting everyone in a shared celebration of health, culture, and togetherness.
