VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
The High Commission of Malaysia in London is seeking suitable candidates for the following position at MATRADE London.
TEMPORARY DRIVER
JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
• Operate official vehicle and assist in transporting officials and guests
• Maintain the vehicle by ensuring regular and proper vehicle upkeep
• Maintain and update the Log Book by recording the trip details, fuel purchases, and distance travelled
• Update the vehicle inspection book to ensure compliance with the safety standards
• Safeguard fuel card and vehicle keys are in good condition
• Undertake any other tasks as and when directed
REQUIREMENTS:
- Eligibility to work in the UK is a prerequisite (applicants must have the right to stay and work in the UK)
- Possess a valid and clean UK driving license
- Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanour when interacting with officials and guests
- Availability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends
- Physical fitness to carry out duties related to vehicle maintenance and other responsibilities
