Minister of Tourism Dato' Sri Dr Ng launched the Malaysia Pavilion at the 30th World Travel Market (WTM) 2009, held from 9 to 11 November at ExCel Exhibition Centre. The Malaysian delegation comprised 38 organisations from state tourism agencies, hotels and tour operators under the Tourism Malaysia banner. This year marked the 26th year of Malaysia's participation in WTM. The two-storey Malaysia Pavilion, themed "Rumah Melaka" showcased the unique and intricate wood carving of a Melaka Malay tradition house.
