The Malaysian Night Market held at Trafafalgar Square London attracted thousands of visitors to taste the variety of Malaysian Cuisine on 24 September 2011. Organised by Matrade under the Malaysian Kitchen Programme, the Night Market gathered operators of Malaysian restaurants in UK to have their delicacies sold to the general public.
The Night Market also brought along a cultural troupe from Terengganu which performed various traditional dances and songs to promote the state of Terrengganu.
The Night Market was opened by the Mayor of London and the Malaysian High Commissioner, HE Datuk Zakaria Sulong.
