Sivasangari completes an incredible run in London with a maiden PSA World Tour Gold-level title as the Malaysian beats World No.2 Hania El Hammamy to win the GillenMarkets London Squash Classic.
Sivasangari, 25, produced some of the best squash of her career at Alexandra Palace, London, to win the 14th PSA Tour trophy of her career – knocking out World No.1 Nour El Sherbini, World No.4 Nele Gilis, and World No.2 Hania El Hammamy en route to the title.
Her success in the English capital has seen Sivasangari rise to a career-high ranking of World No.13, and has left her well on the way to breaking into the world’s top 10 players – a position that no Malaysian has held since Nicole David herself hung up the racket in 2019.
