LONDON 9 September: The High Commission of Malaysia to the United Kingdom have successfully held a Merdeka Forum entitled '54 years of Merdeka: Building A Nation, Sharing A Destiny'. The event was held at Hyatt Regency The Churchill, London and moderated by H.E Datuk Zakaria Sulong the High Commissioner. Distinguished panelists were Professor Ulung Dato' Dr. Shamsul Amri Baharuddin, Director of Institute of Ethnic Studies, UKM and Dato' Dr. Mahani Zainal Abidin, Chief Executive of Institute of Strategic and International Studies (ISIS) in Kuala Lumpur. The Forum ended with a Q&A session with the participants.
