Feb 20, 2017: The Perwakilan London have successfully held a Charity Fashion Show Luncheon at the High Commission earlier today. The event was organised in aid of an orphanage home, Rumah Anak Kesayangan (RAK) in Sabah, Malaysia. Malaysian designer, Azura Shafawi who was in London to promote her brand Ummiriaz International at the London Modest Fashion Week 2017 was kind enough to put together a runway showcasing 15 of her collection. Profit from the sales from this event will go to the ophans of RAK in Sabah, Malaysia. Guests were served with Malaysian buffet prepared by members of the Perwakilan London and were entertained with live music by The High Commission Band. 3 lucky draw winners also walked away with a 'Victoria Sloane' handbag each donated by Malaysian entrepreneur, Rita Sosilawati.
