The Chief Medical Officer for England has issued an updated public health advice for travellers returning to the UK from specific areas affected by Coronavirus (COVID-19). It was informed that enhanced monitoring will still be in place for direct flights from Thailand, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan Singapore and Malaysia to the UK due to the outbreak. As of 27 February, a total of 7,690 people have been tested in the UK, of which 7,675 were confirmed negative and 15 positive.
