INTERNATIONAL MALAYSIA PASSPORT APPLICATION

The applicant must come personally to the High Commission Of Malaysia Accra, Ghana with their passport and needs to comply with the following procedure:

1. Fill out the IM.42 form (obtainable from the High Commission)

2. MyKad/MyKid applicant

3. Certificate of Birth/Form H of the applicant (under 18 years old)

4. Certificate of Marriage (under 18 years old)

5. Passport-sized image of applicant (2 pieces)

6. Resident Permit/Work Pass/Spouse Visa applicant

7. Cash payments RM200 payable in equivalent Ghana Cedis

8. Children under 4 years old are encouraged to bring together pictures according to the specified specifications.

NOTE : Apllication will submitted to Department of Immigration Malaysia, Putrajaya. Processing may take two (2) to three (3) months

Malaysia Passport Image Specifications

• Applicants must wear dark-colored clothing and cover the shoulders and chest

• Looking directly at the camera, the eyes should be open and the mouth closed

• Not wearing a hat/hair does not protect the face and does not cover the forehead for those who wear a hijab

• The wearing of eyeglasses and glasses is not allowed while taking pictures

• Applicants who wear a hijab must wear a dark-colored hijab
