As Malaysia assumed its ASEAN Chairmanship on 1 January 2025 , the Embassy of Malaysia organised a briefing session on Malaysia ASEAN Chairmanship 2025 for Heads of Mission from the Embassy of Sierra Leone, Liberia, Guinea Bissau and Cote d’Ivoire and other key stakeholders. The fundamental objective of the event is to update the latest development and progress under Malaysia's leadership. The event was held on 8 May 2025 at Hotel Grand Conakry, Guinea. Participants were also treated with ASEAN theme lunch.
