The Chargé d’Affaires a.i paid a courtesy call on His Excellency Ernesto Muntaga JALO, Ambassador of Guinea Bissau in Conakry. The meeting took place on Thursday 10th August 2017.
Both sides talked about the strengthening of bilateral relations between Guinea Bissau and Malaysia, two longstanding brotherly countries as described by the new Bissau Guinean Ambassador.
The Chargé d’Affaires a.i mentioned the possibility for Bissau Guineans to apply for MTCP courses but also informed his host about the existence of a Malaysian private university in Freetown, Sierra Leone calling on Bissau Guinean students to go and study there. Considering the opportunities for investments in Guinea Bissau especially on the fields of agriculture, cashew, fishery as well as tourism, Ambassador Jalo’ called on Malaysian investors to come and explore those potentials.
