In conjunction with the celebration of Hari Raya Aidilfitri, to mark the end of the holy month of Ramadan, the Embassy of Malaysia hosted the Hari Raya 2024 reception at Primus Kaloum Hotel, Conakry on 20th April 2024. Around 50 guests were present, among others are members of the diplomatic corps, fellow Malaysians residing in Conakry, government officials and Friends of Malaysia. Guests were treated with a variety of Malaysian food that included lemang, rendang, satay, nasi lemak, nasi hujan panas, ayam masak merah, meehoon and Malaysian desserts. Chargé d’Affaires, in his remarks stated that apart from strengthening relations between the Embassy and stakeholders, such events contribute towards promoting continuous ties between Malaysia and Guinea.
