In conjunction with the celebration of Hari Raya Aidilfitri, to mark the end of the holy month of Ramadan, the Embassy of Malaysia hosted the Hari Raya 2025 reception at Grand Hotel Conakry on 19th April 2025. Around 60 guests were present, among others are members of the diplomatic corps, fellow Malaysians residing in Conakry, government officials and Friends of Malaysia. Guests were treated with a variety of Malaysian cuisine such as nasi minyak, rendang ayam, chicken satay, ayam masak merah,fried meehoon, kambing masak hitam, and Malaysian desserts (Kuih-Muih). Chargé d’Affaires, in his remarks stated that apart from strengthening relations between the Embassy and stakeholders, such events contribute towards promoting continuous ties between Malaysia and Guinea through food and culture. Appreciation goes to Perwakilan Conakry for the preparation of a variety of sumptuous dishes.
