Chargé d’ affaires a.i. the delegation had an opportunity to visit Limkokwing University of Creative Technology (LUCT) in Freetown, Sierra Leone. Members of the delegation was received by the top management and as well as the students. Following a tour around the campus, the delegation was briefed on the day to day operation of the campus and the activities being carried out throughout the year. The institution also carries out other activities in collaboration with other various stakeholders such as Education Ministry of Sierra Leone and UNDP. LUCT had also won the United Nations Development Programme Accelerator Lab Award recently. In addressing the management team and students, Chargé d’ affaires a.i. took the opportunity to highlight Malaysia’s current state and policies in place especially on higher education. It was a joy to see Malaysian education institution recognized in Africa. It is a testament that Malaysian education institution is regarded highly by nations especially Africa. Presently LUCT has enrolled more than 1000 student from various countries in West Africa.
