LUNCH WITH MALAYSIAN COMPATRIOTS AND FRIENDS OF MALAYSIA,CONAKRY 5th APRIL 2009

A luncheon for Malaysian compatriots and friends of Malaysia was organized on 5th April 2009 at the Official Residence of the Malaysian Ambassador in Conakry.  The main purpose of the luncheon was to welcome our two  Malaysian compatriots namely, Mr. Tan Chong Young and Mr. Yap Thiam Boon of Ensign Global (M) Sdn. Bhd, Subang Jaya Selangor Daul Ehsan.

The two Malaysian  compatriots were in Conakry to participate in the local Cipex Trade Fair held at the Compound of the Palais du  Peuple from 26th March to 13th April 2009.  According to our compatriots they have been to several countries in Africa and have  business interests in Cameroon, Nigeria and Kenya.  They are planning to open another branch in Abidjan, Cote d' Ivoire in the near future.

The event also gave the oppurtunity to our two Malaysian compatriots to  register with the Mission.  During the course of the luncheon, Malaysian food were served.
