On 13 May 2025, Chargé d’Affaires held a meeting with Mr Carlos Garcia, Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Spain. The meeting took place at the latter’s office where he seized the opportunity to brief on ASEAN Malaysia Chairmanship 2025 and in particular the latest development and progress under Malaysia’s leadership. Chargé d’Affaires a.i. also spoke on the Treaty of Amity and Cooperation on Southeast Asia (TAC) and ASEAN Community Vision 2045 (ACV 2045).
