On 15 April 2026, the Embassy of Malaysia organized a Culinary Showcase in collaboration with Le Chef School of Gastronomy at the latter’s premise. 30 culinary students participated in the showcase which was presented by Ms. Priscilla Anyi, Chair of PERWAKILAN Conakry.
The students were divided into 2 teams and were exposed to the ingredients and way of preparation of roti jala and kari ayam, along with the significance of the dishes to Malaysians.
CDA Ahmad Fuad delivered his remarks highlighting the efforts of the Embassy in promoting Malaysia’s identity to the local community. He also expressed his admiration to the school in providing important skillset to the local youths, given that hospitality and tourism sector is gaining momentum in the country.
