On 18 March 2025, Chargé d’Affaires a.i had a fruitful discussion with Ambassador Mohamed Lamine Traoré, Director General of the Diplomatic and Enhancement Training Centre (CEFOPED) of Guinea’s Foreign Ministry. The meeting was an opportunity for both sides to discuss possible cooperation on capacity building between CEFOPED and Malaysia’s Institute of Diplomacy and Foreign Relations (IDFR). During the meeting, it was mooted for both institutions to deliberate on the possibility of signing an MoU.
The meeting also served as a platform to brief on ASEAN Malaysia Chairmanship 2025 which officially commenced on 1 January 2025.
